Prototype Development
Adapticom and its "principals" have a background in prototyping going back over a decade prior to Adapticom's inception. Long term experience includes development of "one of" test equipment devices for IBM, Teledyne, and Zenith TV, development of "custom products" for IBM's mainframe division, and elaborate, high-performance test equipment for IBM's Server Performance group. Many of the current prototype / sample cases are created with parts from Square D / Schneider Electric.Wire-wrap boards have given way to low-cost, low-volume printed circuit boards; dedicated logic has given way to FPGAs, PIC micros, PSoC and hybrid type devices; Adapticom has extensive experience with them all.
Machine milled mechanical prototypes have given way to CNC controlled lasers used to produce SLA - stereo lithography parts with near perfect
accuracy. Once again Adapticom is experienced with and regularly utilizes these techniques as well.
