Started in 2002, Adapticom's "Video Surveillance" activities have grown sufficiently to warrant their own site. Links from this page will take the user to our new AdaptiCAM site.

The AdaptiCAMs (Adapticom LAN CAMs)
Note: These are NOT Web Cams, but rather stand-alone digital cameras that are known as Internet, LAN, or network cameras. Each Internet camera contains enough intelligence and networking capability to reside on a network without requiring a PC to be associated with it.

The AdaptiCAM system provides Digital Video Surveillance without the requirement for a CCTV system or a DVR (Digital Video Recorder).
AdaptiCAM systems are pre-configured at the Adapticom fulfillment center to allow for easy "out of the box" installation by virtually any licensed alarm system contractor.
The AdaptiCAM system was developed and is sold by Adapticom Inc., based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Many states require that surveillance systems be installed by a licensed fire and alarm installer. Adapticom will work with the local licensed contractor of your choice to facilitate a smooth installation.
Adapticom services Raleigh, Durham, RTP, and Chapel Hill North Carolina along with the entire Eastern seaboard and continental United States, with successful installations from the Carolinas to California.
